Trade data mapping solution

MyEDI converter is an intuitive converting tool with a high end user interface. It allows trading partners to exchange documents in an electronic way which reduces paperwork and unnecessary time loss. This application’s versatility is delivered by its supporting all major EDI requirements.

The application is extremely customizable and supports various file transfer protocols including LAN, SMPT, POP3, FTP, HTTP(S), X.400 and AS2. Being a full-blown client-server app it is compatible with all Windows OS and can also be easily adjusted for a different environment.

Once set up, the converter is automatically run by the system, subsequent restarts do not require entering the login information.

Job management

Primary functions of the application include retrieving data, converting and sending various types of files. They are run with the help of smart job lists. The jobs are processed in parallel and executing of one does not interfere with the work of another. The entire workflow can be executed in one mask which considerably minimizes window switching. The app gives the possibility to partially test and edit your workflow on the stage of its creation.

Workflow triggers

When it comes to electronic data transfers various triggers can help you sync your and your partners’ business systems. They will automatically convert unrecognizable data format into one the receiving system will be able to identify. Such triggers may include the filename, filecontents, ILN Numbers, email subjects etc. They can be selected for different data formats, e.g. SAP, EDIFACT, CSV and ASCII.

Message system

Within the message system there are functions of errormail and infomail. They allow keeping tabs on the processes of retrieving, converting and transferring data. If the errormail function is enabled and an error occurs, a message will be sent to the designated persons. This function can be set for every job. Infomail is a message which is sent out in the event of a successfully created job.

Access rights management

Multi-user structure of MyEDI system enables you to differentiate your admins’ access rights to different workflows, so on the one hand they won’t be able to tamper with the work of their colleagues while on the other hand they will be able to use the existing workflows and control the ones they are authorized to.

Transition from previous systems

MyEDI systems makes the switch from the previous system extremely easy by automatically importing and processing the existing mappings. It also provides plenty of standard, easily integrable mappings (e.g. DESADV, ORDERS, INVOICES, EDIFACT, ASCII, SAP IDOCS, etc.) which will ensure trouble-free cooperation with your trading partners.

The system is developed using C/C++, C++ Builder (GUI) and Java (several libraries) as well as MS SQL database.
